Apple will start to roll out 5G networks in select markets in the United States this week, the company said on Wednesday.
The announcement comes just days after the company rolled out 5GHz wireless network in Europe, and ahead of the launch of Apple’s new iPad Pro, which supports the technology.
Apple has previously announced plans to launch 5G services in select regions in the US.
The company has previously said that it would launch services in the UK in late September.
Apple had previously said it would start rolling out 5.5G networks across the country in 2019.
